Educational Qualifications for CCL Recruitment 2023
Mining Sirdar
- Candidate Should have 10th or equivalent Certificate from any recognized Board.
- With Valid Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency from DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 or any other certificate in Mining which entitles to work as Mining Sirdar as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017.
Electrical/Technician-
- Candidate Should have 10th or equivalent Certificate from any recognized Board.
- Candidate Also Have ITI degree in the Electrician Trade. Must have completed Apprenticeship Training under Apprenticeship Act-1961
Deputy Surveyor-
- Candidate Should have 10th or equivalent Certificate from any recognized Board.
- Candidate Should have Valid Mines Survey Certificate of competency (unrestricted * granted) by DGMS for working in Coal Mines.
Assistant Foreman (Electrical)-
- 10th or equivalent exam pass from any recognized Board of examination with a recognized Diploma in Electrical Engineering (03 years course)
Upper Age Limit for CCL Recruitment 2023
Candidate must not be under 18 year of age and must not be above 35 years (upper age limit as on 19/4/2023) .
- For OBC candidates - 30 years
- For reserved Candidate SC/ST - 35 years

Central Coalfields Limited Exam Pattern
- The CBT will be of 100 marks for one hour (in one siting)
- The written examination will be in ONLINE mode and the question paper would consist of 100 nos. of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be answered in a maximum time of 1 hours.
- The medium of written examination shall be be bilingual i.e. both in Hindi and English only
- Each question will carry two marks and there is no penalty for wrong answer (Syllabus Attached as Annexure A) Every question will carry 2 (Two) mark and there will be No negative marking for wrong answer.
