Educational Qualifications RBI Junior Engineer Recruitment 2023
Junior Engineer (Civil):
- Minimum three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute or University or Board with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- At least 2 years’ experience for Diploma holders or at least 1-year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of civil construction work and/ or civil maintenance of office buildings/ commercial buildings/ residential complexes with basic knowledge of RCC design and other civil works, working knowledge of computers, experience in preparation of tenders for civil works, etc or a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU.
Junior Engineer (Electrical):
- Minimum three years Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/ PwBD) or Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/ PwBD).
- At least 2 years’ experience for Diploma holders or at least 1-year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of electrical installations in large buildings/ commercial buildings having HT/ LT substations, central AC plants, lifts, UPS, DG sets, CCTV, Fire alarm system, etc or a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU.
Upper Age Limit for RBI JE Recruitment 2023
Candidate must not be under 20 years of age and must not be above 30 years
- For General / UR candidates - 30 years
- For reserved Candidate SC/ST - 35 years

RBI Junior Engineer Exam Pattern
- The CBT will be of TWO & HALF (2.5) hours duration
- The written examination will be in ONLINE mode and the question paper would consist of 180 nos. of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be answered in a maximum time of 2.5 hours.
- The medium of written examination shall be in English only.
- The Indicative Syllabus for Engineering Discipline (Paper I & II) for the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) is given in the Annex-IV.
Application fees for RBI JE Recruitment 2023
- For OBC/General/EWS candidates - RS. ₹450/- plus 18% GST (Examination fee+ Intimation Charges)
- For SC/ST/PwBD/ EXS candidates - Rs. ₹50/- plus 18% GST (Intimation Charges)
- Staff candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee and intimation charges.

Salary / Pay Level for RBI JE Recruitment 2023
- Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹33,900/- per month (i.e. ₹20,700/- plus nine advance increments admissible to Junior Engineers) in the scale of ₹20700 – 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) - 30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850 – 2850 – 55700 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments for Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) is approximately ₹71,032/-.
- **House Rent Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid to them, additionally, if they are not staying in Bank’s accommodation
