Educational Qualifications for NMDC Executive Trainee Recruitment 2023
Executive Trainee
Candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering disciplines as given below can only apply for the post of Executive Trainee in the respective disciplines.
- Civil Engineering (CE)
- Executive Trainee – Electrical Degree in any one from 1. Electrical 2. Electrical & Electronics 3. Power Systems & High Voltage Engineering Electrical Engineering (EE)
- Degree in any one from Electrical / Mechanical / Mining and valid GATE 2022 Score in any one paper code from Electrical Engineering (EE) / Mechanical Engineering (ME) / Civil Engineering (CE)
- Degree in any one from 1. Mechanical 2. Mechanical & Automation 3. Industrial and Production Engineering 4. Mechanical Production 5. Production Engineering 6. Mining Machinery with valid GATE 2022 Score in Mechanical Engineering (ME)
Upper Age Limit for NMDC Recruitment 2023
Candidate must not be under 21 years of age and must not be above 27 years
- For General / UR candidates - 27 years
- For reserved Candidate SC/ST - 32 years

NMDC Group Discussion & Interview Pattern
- Based on GATE -2022 Score, candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview discipline-wise & category-wise in the ratio 1:10.
- The Group Discussion Committee will conduct the group discussions of the candidates. Topic for Group discussions shall be decided by the Group Discussion committee in advance. The topic for GD may be either discipline-specific or general.
- Group discussions will be held discipline-wise & category-wise in batches. The number of candidates in each batch will be decided depending upon the number of candidates turning up for Group Discussion.
- Candidates will be called for Interview, discipline-wise in the ratio prescribed above

Salary / Pay Level for NMDC Recruitment 2023
- The Executive Trainees will be offered Basic Pay of Rs.50,000/- plus Dearness Allowances (IDA) as per rules of the Company. On successful completion of training of one year, the Executive Trainees will be designated as Assistant Managers in the scale pay of Rs.60,000-1,80,000/- and initial Basic Pay will be fixed at Rs.60,000/- per month

Selection Process for NMDC Recruitment 2023 for Executive Trainee
Eligible candidates must have appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE – 2022). Based on the GATE 2022 marks and requirement, candidates will be shortlisted discipline wise, category wise for further selection process (GD & Interview). The final merit list will be prepared based on following weightage of marks. Please note that for Executive Trainee recruitment of NMDC Limited, GATE marks of 2022 will only be valid and GATE Score of 2021 or prior to that is not valid
- GATE -2022 score in concerned discipline – 70 Marks
- Group Discussion (GD) – 15 Marks
- Interview – 15 Marks
